Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and the Swelv entity listed below for your location. “Swelv”, “we” and “us” mean that entity. By browsing the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

What these terms cover

These terms cover the website only. Nothing here grants access to the swelv platform, which runs on the Master Services Agreement and an Order Form. Where the two differ, that agreement governs.

How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, and what the site stores in your browser in the Cookie Policy.

This is not advice

Everything on this site, including the glossary, the market data pages, and the essays, is published for general information. It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice, and it is not an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security or interest in any fund.

Private capital is jurisdiction specific and fact specific. Take professional advice on your own circumstances before acting on anything you read here.

Accuracy of content

We take care to get things right, and we cite the sources behind the market data we publish. Even so, the site is provided as is: figures move, market data ages, regulation changes, and definitions vary between jurisdictions and between managers. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.

Third-party figures remain the work of whoever published them, and we do not independently verify every number we cite.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and software of this site, and the swelv name and V mark, are owned by Swelv Group Limited or its licensors and used by the Swelv entities under licence. You may read, quote, and share our published writing with attribution and a link. You may not copy the site wholesale, present our content as your own, or use our brand in a way that implies a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with the site or try to break its security;
• scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or in breach of our robots directives;
• use it to send unsolicited commercial messages to us or to anyone else; or
• use it for anything unlawful.

Use of the swelv platform is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.

We link to external sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

We do not promise the site will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it, including individual pages, at any time.

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law shown for your Swelv entity in the table above, and disputes are heard by the courts of that jurisdiction. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep any protection the law of the country where you live gives you that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
